With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Giovanni Rizzo, who left this world peacefully on April 16, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on January 24, 1935, Giovanni lived a life marked by hard work, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to his family.
He now rests in eternal peace, reunited in heaven with his beloved son Domenico, whom he missed dearly every day. Giovanni was the cherished husband of Vittoria. He was a proud and devoted father to Angelo (Laura), Tony (Adrianna), and Alessandro (Mary-Lynn). Beloved Nonno of Gianluca, Jessica, Cristiano, Amadeo, Stefania, and Vanessa.
May he rest in peace, surrounded by light and love.
Visitations for Giovanni Rizzo have been entrusted to the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500) and will commence on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on, Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 12:00 pm and conducted at DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500). Immediately following Entombment Service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, On.)
