With saddened hearts, the family of George William Seres Jr. announce his passing at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the age of 77 years. Dear brother of Marjorie DeVos (Ken) of Langton, Christine Seres of London and brother-in-law of Dan Pearce of Tillsonburg. George is also survived by a niece and many nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Olive (Markham) Seres, his spouse Ann and sisters Cheryl Seres and Donna Pearce. George farmed tobacco in the Houghton Centre area for many years.
In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Seres family.
