It is with deep sadness that we announce Gayle McCullough (nee Hoare) passed away on June 3rd, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Gayle’s legacy lives on and continues to inspire her dedicated husband, Grant, her beloved children, Tracey (Jeff) and Rob (Christa), and her four cherished grandchildren (Katie, Alyssa, Mikaela and Ryder), who were her pride and joy and the centre of her world. Her kind-heartedness and unshakable positivity will endure and guide them.
She loved and will be mourned by her siblings, Allan (Joanne), Donna (Elio), Norm (Rosanne), Mary (Bill) and Rick (Mira), (Predeceased by Shirley and John) and is survived by many nieces and nephews who where very special to her.
Gayle was a beautiful soul, both inside and out— she possessed a rare gift: the ability to see the best in others and her friendly smile, unwavering compassion and quiet strength, were felt instantly.
She loved bringing her family together. Whether for a holiday, a celebration, or a simple meal, she found true happiness in those moments of connection and love. Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and belonging.
Gayle faced life’s many challenges with resilience and grace, sharing her strength during difficult moments and her spirit will live on in the memories we hold, the stories we tell, and the love we continue to share.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date to honour her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Providing Safe Refuge and Support – Gillian’s Place or Lung Cancer Canada in her name.
She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
