Frances Gay Minor Obituary
MINOR- Frances Gay (née Rogers). Gay’s family sadly announce her passing away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Welland County General Hospital at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Clint Minor (2017), loving mother of Scott (Carol), dear grandmother of Luke Minor and Abbie (Chris) Stewart, great grandmother of Elliott and Iian, sister-in-law of Geroge Wallrich, aunt of Sara and Gerry Ryan, Butch and Katie Wallrich and their families. Besides her husband, Gay was predeceased by her parents Charles and Mae Rogers, her brother Chuck Rogers, her sister Virgina (Gini) Wallrich, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Stan and Hazel Minor, her sisters-in-law June (Guy) Hall and Pat Gibson.
Gay enjoyed her yearly cruises with the gang. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandsons. Neighbour hood happy hours and parties she always enjoyed. Gay loved to sit on her front deck with a glass of wine and watch the world to by. A special thanks to all of her daughters in the neigbourhood, (you all know who you are). Gay was a former member of the Port Colborne Curling Club and was Past President and a former member of the Port Colborne Lioness. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
The Minor family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME,135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the Davidson Chapel at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Morgan’s Point Cemetery, Wainfleet. Memorial donations to Port Cares would be appreciated.
