It is with broken hearts I announce the
sudden passing of my dad, Earl Beaton,
51, on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of
Ethel Arsenault Rogers (her late husband Kenny); as well as his
father, the late Bill Beaton (his wife Eleanor).
Dad was my hero, always there for me
when I needed him. He would give anyone the shirt off his
back. Growing up his passion was wrestling where he made
great lifelong friends. He loved the outdoors and was an
avid hunter, and fisherman. He was often out biking,
snowmobiling, and in his younger days racing cars. He
enjoyed spending a few dollars at the casino. He loved a
cold drink of Coors Light with friends and families, even on his
own.
Dad will be dearly missed by myself,
Shelby, Jordan, Darrell, Kade, Jaden, Avery and Abigail. His
grandbabies were the light of his life. My heart goes out to
my Dad’s fiance, Kathy Rigsby, who I know loves him with all her
heart; step daughter Jordan (Majid) Rigsby; step grandson Malik; step
son Braeden (Susie); step mother Eleanor Beaton; brothers Floyd
(Tammy), Joey (Kerry), Jason (Dawn); sisters Linda (Steve), Charlene
(Bernard), Marlene (Charlie), and Kathy (Robert); aunts Joyce
Barkhouse and Dora Bourgeois. My Dad had several nieces and
nephews that he loved like his own.
He was always one to tease them,
sometimes a little too much, but his visits always ended with either
candy or a fist full of change, hence the nickname they gave him…
« The Money Man »!
Dad will be missed by all who knew him,
including my mom Diane and her entire family.
Everyone who knew Dad, knew he had a
very special guy in his life who he considered the son he never had,
Gibby Hiltz. He loved you brother and so do
I.
Our house was always full of my
friends. « His Girls » He loved every
single one of you. My favourite memories are the ones we had
with my Dad. Rachael, Krislyn, Jordyn, Kennedy, Erika,
Justine, Casie, Katie and Brianna. I love you all.
Nate Chute, you weren’t one of his girls, but he loved you
too!
I couldn’t possibly name every friend
that my Dad had. I hope he knows how many people truly loved
him.
To Rector, John, CP, Brent, Troy, Jeff,
Derek, Steve, Rob, Trevor, Cecil, Mike Barkhouse (his brother from
another mother). You’ve all been a huge part of our
lives. I love you all.
A special shout out to Shawna Beaton who
Dad loved like a sister. Thank you for always being there
for him.
Dad is predeceased by his father Bill
and his step father Kenny.
