Obituary of Doris Mabel Moore
MOORE (Pullen), Doris – On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Doris Moore, in her 100th year peacefully passed away at Sumac Lodge to join with her beloved husband Les (2010), son Michael (2009), parents Fred and Daisy Pullen, sister Kath and husband Jack Pace. Loving mother to daughter Linda and husband Bill Mollitor and son Dave Moore. Mother-in-law of Bonnie Moore. Proud grandma of Jamie & Sacha Moore, Jodie & Geoff Bore, Bill Jr. & Stacey Mollitor, Barrie & Christina Mollitor and David Moore.
Cherished great-grandmother of Riley, Jaxon and Mackenzie, Oban and Alexandra, Chelsea and Charlotte, Warren and Zoe and Omari.
Much loved sister-in-law of Lois Gratton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews both in Canada and England.
Doris was kind, caring, positive, loving and always ready to serve. Doris and Les were a dynamic team whether they were socializing with family, friends or volunteering at church functions, delivering Red Cross meals or school breakfasts etc. If you asked, they were there! Their favourite pastime was square dancing!
Doris’ family would like to express their gratitude to the kind staff at Sumac Lodge for the wonderful care given to her for the past 5 years.
At Doris’ request, cremation has taken place, and an interment will be held in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131.
