It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Jean Bailey (nee Fraser), who left us on March 5, 2025, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Sam Bailey, and their loving daughters, Tina Bailey, along with her children David Andrew and Heather Duncan of Windsor, and Laura Jean Bailey, with her son Tye Fraser Bailey (Caitlin Patrick) of Chatham Kent.
Donna will be lovingly remembered by her little brother Donnie Fraser, her cherished nieces and nephews, Kelli Tignanelli (nee Fraser) (Roberto) and their children Toria and Reece, Candice Fraser (Mike Varvaresos), Christopher Fraser (Carolyn Cresswell), and their daughter Briar. A special shoutout goes to her sister-in-law, Sharon Bailey.
Donna found great joy in knitting and crocheting, pouring her heart into each stitch. An avid reader, she possessed an extensive collection of books. Music was a constant companion in her life, particularly the tunes of Toby Keith, which she adored. Together with her husband, Sam, Donna loved to travel the world, making lasting memories along the way. She was also an avid baseball fan; she loved watching the Blue Jays.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Martyn Funeral Home, located at 464 Wyld St., North Bay.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Heart&Stroke Foundation.
