Donald Alward
1953-2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Donald Alward (Salisbury) 71 years old, on February
7th 2025 at the Georges Dumont Hospital
surrounded by his loving family.
Donnie was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. He
was a kind loving man who had a great passion for the outdoors,
hunting, four-wheeling, camping, golfing, music and spending time with
his family, especially his grandchildren. Donnie had many friends, but
time with his family was always the most important.
Survived by his loving wife, Cathy of 25 years, their
children: Chasity (Mike), Tammy, Tim (Marie), Cody (Dominique), Ashley
(Ricky) and Katelyn (Gilles); his grandchildren: Dontaya (Baby Girl),
Remi (Best Friend), Nash, River, Amelia and soon to be Ellie-Dawn;
siblings: Linda (Scott), Gerry (Carol), Terry (Ruth), Susan, Debbie,
Cathy (Brent); in laws: Eleanor Butland (Walter), Danny (Teresa),
Sherri (Mike); aunts, Alta (Tom) and Mary; uncle, Leslie (Carol),
cousins as well as several nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, Don & Eva
Alward; nephew, Benji and his very special K9 sidekick,
Bandit.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the
nurses, doctors at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital and the extra
mural nurses for the excellent care he received.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. All arrangements at this time are being
held privately. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later
date.
If desired, donations made to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
