Age 66, passed away peacefully on January 19th in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre; after a lengthy & courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 25 1958 to the late Leslie & Dorothy (Julien) Gosling.
Christina was a CCA for Northwood home care for 20 years before her retirement. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo, doing diamond art and thrift shopping. She loved feeling the wind in her hair when she went for drives with her husband in their old classic antique cars. Christina had an obsession with shoes and could probably open her own department store that’s how many shoes she owned. Christina also cherished
spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to teach them how to bake and also taught them all her dance moves, she sure knew how to break it down and have a great time. She also enjoyed a nice feed of halibut & lobsters. Christina also enjoyed spending time with her best friend of 40 years, Melita Carvery and her children & grandchildren.
Christina is survived by her loving and devoted husband Bob Gale; whom took extremely good care of her during her illness. He went to every appointment with her, and was with her holding her hand when she passed away. He never left her side.
She is survived by her children Wanda & Shawn of Halifax, stepchildren Bobby, Tanya and Scott, grandchildren Brandon, Gerry & Jessica of Halifax, Jordyn of Alberta, her great-grandchildren Levon & Levaèh. Siblings Brenda (Derek)Yeates, Darlene Gosling and Robert Gosling all of Halifax as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Christina was predeceased by her daughter baby Lisa Marie, sister Mary and brothers Leslie & Eddie.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Truro hospital, VG hospital and the palliative care team at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre for their dedication and care they provided Christina during her illness. And would also like to thank the directors at TK Barnards funeral home for their compassion during this extremely difficult time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to TK Barnards Funeral Home in Lower Sackville.
Cremation has already taken place and as per Christina’s wishes there will be no service but some of her remains will be placed with her daughter baby Lisa Marie in the spring.
