Cheryl Lynn Taveirne Obituary
It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Cheryl Taveirne, with her family by her side, on April 3, 2025, at the age of 66. Loving wife of Ken Neal for 29 years. Beloved mother of Deanna (Jimmy), and step mother of Donny (Kailyn), and Dustin (Kayla). Proud nana of Aidan, Alyssa, Jase, Braydan, James, and Maverick. Dear sister of Connie Dresser (Richard), the late Ron Taveirne, Christine Clement (Tony), and Carol Turner (Bob), and sister-in-law of Richard Neal. Predeceased by her parents Edward Taveirne and Theresa Palmer. She will be sincerely missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Cheryl loved her family more than anything. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye. She never missed a sports game, and will be forever remembered as « hockey and soccer grandma ». Cheryl loved watching Nascar, especially Ryan Blaney. She loved classic car shows, her favourite being Ken’s ’66 Chevelle. In the summer, you could catch her tending to her gardens, or with her family, cherishing all the time they spent together. In kindness, donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice. As per Cheryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington, ON 519-326-2631. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.reidfuneralhome.ca
