With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carl Perley William Flemming of Jacksonville, NB, on February 7th, at Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Carl was born January 2, 1935, in Fredericton, NB, to the late Ray and Blanche (Fox) Flemming of Bloomfield, NB.
Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his parents-in-law Perry and Ferne (Bartley), Burtt, sons Bruce and Haldon, brother Weldon, nephew Joseph, brother-in-law Andrew Boucher, daughter-in-law, Charlette.
Carl survived by his loving wife of 71+ years, Darlene Burtt, son Ivan, daughters Carlene (Fred) Hawthorne, Angela (Harold) McLellan, Rhonda (Lewis) Lockard, Tammy (Frank) McBride, daughter-in law, Nancy (Peter McCormack). Sister-in-law Alberta Boucher (Thomas Tweedie), brothers-in-law, Vincent and Garth Burtt, 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, special friends Jordan, Gabby, Devyn and James Bamford.
A sincere thank you to the Doctors and staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital for the care and compassion they showed to Dad and our family.
Visitation will be at the Jacksonville United Baptist Church, 433 Route 560, Jacksonville, NB, from 12-2 pm on Tuesday, February 11th, followed by the funeral at 2 pm.
Reception to follow the service at the Jacksonville United Baptist Church auditorium.
Internment will be at the Bloomfield Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice if so desired, which would be very much appreciated.
