It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Mae Muckler, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away suddenly on April 23, 2025 in Huntsville, Ontario at the age of 89.
Barb was born April 4, 1936 in Paris, Ontario to James and May Gibson. Barb was a devoted wife for 65 years. She is predeceased by her husband Bill and daughter Laurie (Farnsworth). She is survived by sons Bill Jr., (Tracy) and Jamie, grandmother to Lauren Pitt (Scott), Benjamin Muckler (Nicole) and Brodie Muckler (Hailey) and great-grandmother to 5. She is predeceased by brothers Doug and Billy and survived by siblings Gord and Carol.
Barb and Bill moved to Huntsville 52 years ago with 3 kids, 1 dog, 1 cat and a goldfish! Barb was a devoted « sports mom » at all games that Bill Sr., coached and the games all of her children and grandchildren played.
Barb was mostly a homemaker but enjoyed several years working in the toy department at Zellers. She loved reading, knitting and in earlier years gardening. Barb loved her dogs Digby, Bailey and Watson.

A visitation will take place at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. On Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 there will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. followed by a funeral at 2 p.m. at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntsville Minor Hockey Association would be appreciated.
