It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Angela Ann Hillier on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the age of 73. Angela was born in Cape Cove, Newfoundland to Patrick and Emma Saunders and was part of a large and loving family.
In 1970 Angela met and married the love of her life, Dave Hillier, and they remained steadfast in their love for each other until Dave’s untimely passing in 2014. Angela and Dave were blessed with three children, David (Paulette) Hillier, Lesley (Brian) Reynolds, and Michael (Richelle) Hillier. She also has five cherished grandchildren, Chloe and Lainey Hillier and Brody, Johnny and Charlie Reynolds. Brody, Johnny and Charlie lived close to Grandma Angela and were fortunate to have had a very close
relationship. Grandma Angela took great joy in her grandkids, giving the boys love and affection and a pantry full of treats at every opportunity.
Angela is survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Emma Saunders, her husband Dave and brothers Patrick, Jerry and Dave.
Friends and family are invited to a Visitation which is being held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main Street East, Milton, Ontario. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 followed by a reception in the Upper Lounge of the Funeral Home. An elevator is available for those requiring assistance.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Angela to Epilepsy Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family. (A link for this charity is noted below)
