Paul Jeffray Obituary
Paul passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hampton Terrace Care Centre, Burlington on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Collis) for 55 years. Loved father of Christy and Laurie (Rob) Perrett. Proud grandfather of Ashley and Julia. Dear brother of †Anne (David) Robertson and Lynn (Jeff) Toplitsky; and brother-in-law of †Bob (Joyce) Collis, Raymond (Cathy) Collis and Ron Collis. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Much loved son of †Eileen (nee Knox) and †Stewart Jeffray; and son-in-law of †George and †Bernadette (nee Real).
Paul taught business at Burlington Central High School for 35 years. He coached Burlington Central Boys Hockey Team as well as the Burlington Central Girls Field Hockey Team. He also coached his daughters’ teams in Strabane. Always positive, he will be remembered for his smile and happy nature and his favourite saying “Make a Memory Every Day.”
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Freelton. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. The family would like to thank the staff of Hampton Terrace Care Centre, specifically the staff of Lilac Lane for their compassion and care. Appreciation also to Dr. Lind Holland, not only for her support as Paul’s physician but also for her close friendship over the last 40 years.
