Geraldine Florence Tanner ,83, of Garden Lots passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
She was a daughter of Bernard and Mildred (Bruhm) Spidle.
Geraldine worked at National Sea for several years but for the most part was a very private person and led a quiet life.
She is survived by step-sister, Judy Zinck; step-brother, Brian (Dianne) Nowe; brothers-in-law, Benny (Nancy) Tanner, Peter (Shirley Williams) Tanner, niece Emily Tanner and several cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Borden Tanner and brother, Luther Spidle.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy 3, Lunenburg. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21 at 11:00 am in Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks, Rev. Vivian Moores officiating.
