We are saddened to share the passing of our dearest Jenny. Mother of 4 (Nicholas, Kyle, Stephanie, and Ryan), grandmother of 5 (and one on the way), sister to 3, niece and friend to many.
Jenny was born in Esterhazy, raised in Spy Hill and spent her adult years in Regina, Saskatchewan. She raised her 4 children (born within 5 years) with so much love and the patience of Job.
Jenny lost her mom, Doris Dafoe (nee Parisien) in 2022. They were very close. In keeping with Métis tradition, Grandma was always close by to offer a helping hand with the home and children.
Jen had a fun and welcoming way about her and was a second mom to many of her children’s friends. After school and on weekends, the family home was “the place to be”. Jen was delighted in having her house full of happy children.
In later years, Jenny worked in the hospitality industry. She loved a good cup of coffee, a friendly chat and loved to laugh. We will cherish the memories we have and in that, she will live on in our hearts forever.
A service will be planned at a later date.
