Passed away peacefully at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Maude Spurrell of Butter Cove, age 85 years.
Predeceased by her husband Allison; sisters Marguerite Peddle-White, Laura Martin, Eileen Drodge and Addie Martin.
Left with fond and loving memories her children Marilyn Downton (Bruce), Claudette Price (Brian), Ellis (Beulah), Marvin (Deana) and Sterling (Sherry); grandchildren Jeremy (Karen), Devin (Veenu), Jordan (Cealiea), Camille (Justin), Tyler, Riley, Emily, Sarah and Anthony; brothers-in-law Sam Martin and Eldon Martin; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease on Wednesday, February 5, from 3 – 6 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Gooseberry Cove. No flowers by request. In her memory donations may be made to St. Alban’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund – Gooseberry Cove.
Special thank you to those family and friends who visited and cared for Mom, especially to Parker Ivany (great great nephew) who always brought a smile to her face.
