Moncton, N.-B – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul LeBlanc, 79, of Shannex Ocean Hall, that occurred on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025.
Born in Moncton on May 20th, 1945, he was the son of the late Neri LeBlanc and the late Lola (Melanson) LeBlanc.
Paul was a devoted husband and loving father who valued time with family and friends. He was a gentle giant known for his witty humour (“dad jokes”), who quietly led by example through consistent action.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannine LeBlanc (Leger); his two sons: Marcel (Manon) of Shediac Bridge, and Andre (Pamela) of Shediac; his daughter, Nathalie Richard (Michel) of Moncton; his four grandchildren: Jacob, Alexa, Jeslyne, and Jaxx; his sister, Marielle LeBlanc of Moncton; his sister-in-law, Carm; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers: Ronald (Barbara), and Terry (Anita).
Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault St, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901, on Monday, February 3rd, from 9 to 11 am, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11 am.
If desired, a donation in memory of Paul may be made to the Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
