Keith passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Hamilton General Hospital. Cherished much-loved husband of Karen, and beloved Papa to Kaitlyn, and beloved Dad to Kyle (Kendra), loving brother to Kathy (Ross). Keith is extremely missed by his beautiful grandchildren, Mason, Layla and Audrey. He will be fondly remembered by his mother and father-in-law, Fran and Ivan Foster, brother-in-law, Mark, sister-in-law Kim (Bill),nephews and niece, Owen (Vero), Ryan and Briana. Predeceased by his parents Donald (2024) and Florence (2021) Ingram, and beautiful first grandchild Kayleigh (2010).
Keith was born May 8, 1964, in Montreal, Quebec, and moved with his family to Brampton, Ontario when he was eight. After graduating from JA Turner Secondary School, Keith attended the University of Guelph where he met the love of his life, Karen. They completed their BSc degrees and got married July 9, 1988. Their wonderful children, Kaitlyn and Kyle, were born in 1992 and 1994, as Keith was completing his MSc in Nutritional Sciences. While employed as an Undergraduate Teaching Instructor, Keith decided to attain his teaching degree at Western University. Keith spent the past 25 years teaching science, and in particular, Chemistry, to the many students at Brampton Centennial Secondary School.
Keith was enthusiastic about tennis, curling and English Premier League Football. His collections of Star Wars and Star Trek memorabilia, Godzilla, dinosaurs and love of music, books and movies will be treasured.
Keith’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and staff at Hamilton General Hospital’s Trauma Ward and Neural Trauma ICU for their outstanding teamwork in providing exceptional care and support.
A private Celebration of Keith’s life will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB Guide Dogs, Hamilton General Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
