Dylan Earl Joseph Foster of Walkerton passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, January 17, 2025, in his 28th year. Beloved son of Al Foster and Linda Buchanan of Walkerton, and brother to Wes (Jacquie) Gebhardt of British Columbia, Joanna Gebhardt of Dornoch, Jeremy Buchanan of Walkerton, Trisha Baker of Georgina and grandson of Dorothy Wilhelm and Avis Foster.
Dylan will be dearly missed by his godmother Nicole (Sean) Reinhart-Huberty, nieces and nephew Tristan, Samantha, Quinton, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Predeceased by grandfathers Earl Foster and Jerry Bleek.
Dylan was a kind man with a heart of gold. He would always go out of his way to help someone if he could. He brought a smile to so many faces daily. He will always be remembered for his devotion to the Toronto Maple Leafs, his many years of involvement in scouting and his love for Wrestling. Although the last 9 months were filled with many hospital trips and Dr’s visits, they were also filled with so many great memories. The time he spent with family and friends, catching his first fish, meeting some of his idols and completing one of his greatest accomplishments in graduating high school this past summer. Although his life was cut short, it was filled with so much greatness.
The family would like to thank all the medical professionals who helped Dylan fight his fight and to those incredible home care aides who were there to care for him in his last weeks.
Friends and relatives are invited to memorial visitation from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Cameron’s in Walkerton.
A Celebration of life will take place in summer and family will share details when they are available.
