Bernice Fiedukiewicz, a cherished sister and beloved aunt, passed away suddenly at home on January 16, 2025, at the age of 77.
As a dedicated family member, she was a kind aunt and loving sister. Bernice is survived by her brother Wolter and sister-in-law Irene, as well as her nephew Darek and his wife Dorothy. Her ties to family were further strengthened by her nieces Eva and her partner Maurice, Betty and her husband Adam, and Anna. She took immense joy in being part of the lives of her great nieces and nephews, Emily, Thomas, Brendan, and Elodie, cherishing each precious moment spent together. She also leaves behind a cherished friendship of over 60 years with Patricia who she met at the young age of 15.
She was an avid shopper with a lovely collection of handbags and jewellery that could be admired for its variety and elegance. Additionally, she found joy in the beauty of flowers and the calm of fishing, embodying an appreciation for nature’s gifts. Bernice was also renowned for making the best pound cake.
In honoring her memory, visitation will be held on January 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium in Mississauga. A Rosary will follow that evening at 8:15 PM. The Funeral Service will be held the next day, January 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, also in Mississauga.
Bernice is predeceased by her loving parents, Wanda and Władysław Fiedukiewicz, who embraced her with unwavering love throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
