Goodbye Mom
Surrounded by love, Margaret Christie peacefully left this world to rejoin her husband of 60 years, Rod, on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Her memory will be cherished by her children Duane (Sheri), and Carol (Cam), as well as her grandchildren Ryan, Michelle, and Lauren.
Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family. She always looked forward to spending time with her grandson, Ryan, especially going out for lunch. Margaret treasured her conversations with her granddaughters, Michelle and Lauren, about their adventures at school, at work, and travelling. Mom enjoyed family dinners at the Cottage Restaurant, or at home, making her sought after spareribs.
Margaret was a kind-hearted, loyal friend, whom others could depend on. Mom was an avid bridge player who enjoyed hours socializing and strategizing with her bridge friends. She valued her long-standing relationships with friends and neighbours.
At Margaret’s request, there will be no service. Those who wish may make donations in honour of Margaret to the Regina Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at Green Falls Landing, the nurses and doctors at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina General Hospital and the Wascana Rehab Hospice Unit. Your dedication and compassion were noted and appreciated.
