April 25, 1947 – January 3, 2025
Robbie was born in Indian Head, SK on April 25, 1947, where she lived the first few years of her life, before moving to Regina, SK with her parents Frank and Vi Broome. She passed away suddenly on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Pasqua Hospital in Regina after a brief illness.
On September 5, 1964, Robbie married the love of her life, John Willard Wilcox; they had 56 years of marriage until John’s passing January 9, 2021.
Robbie was predeceased by her parents Frank and Vi Broome; grandparents Jim and Janet Harkness and Jim and Mary Broome; as well as in-laws John and Clara Wilcox and Benny and Ann Wilcox. She is survived by her daughter Heather and her partner Murray; her beloved puppy Sandy; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robbie worked in the kitchen at the Golden Mile mall restaurant after her marriage until 1973. Then she became a fulltime housewife and mother; Her life was John and Heather. Robbie volunteered many hours at Coronation Park School, once Heather started school. In her spare time, she loved to listen to Elvis, go to bingo, watch TV, see shows at the casino, and chat on the phone with her friends and family. After Sandy arrived at their home, he got most of Robbie’s attention and was also well cared for.
A private family Interment will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens.
