Obituary of Zack Wilson
The family of Zachari «Zack» Wilson is deeply saddened to share the news of his passing on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024.
Zack was in his 24th year and is survived by his mother Alyson DeVries (Ken), father Sam Wilson (Becky), his brothers Spencer, Nicholas, and Matthew, his “Gram” Mary Lou Appleton, his aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Zack had been quietly suffering with bipolar disorder for the last 7 years. Sadly, he kept much of his fight with this illness to himself, his passing is a shock to many. The disorder is insidious, and Zack grew weary of struggling for a more peaceful and less tormented life.
Zack had been taking computer science and took great pride in his work. He loved playing video games, designing 3D prints, and tinkering with all kinds of electronics. His quick wit and sharp intellect allowed Zack to be a very funny guy. Zack was a loyal and generous friend, even when he sometimes couldn’t afford it. He was both introspective and acutely aware of the lives of those he loved.
Our world is a lesser place without him. Zack was a kind and thoughtful soul whom we loved and dearly miss.
A private family service will take place.
