Passed away peacefully on August 29th 2023 at Kateri Memorial Hospital Center surrounded by his loving family and closest friends.
Arthur was born on May 15th 1949 to Hazel Skye and John Zachary, and is survived by his wife Laura Zachary, dear father of Jonathan and Kristen, their spouses Nancy and Jamie, incredible grandfather to Mattias, Nathan and Olivia. Brother to Marlene, Ralph, Wayne(the late Shirley), the late Ronnie(Martina), Kevin(Laurie), Karen(Johnny), Louis and brother in-law to Rosemary.
Uncle to Patricia, Cheryl, Travis, Kyle, Sheena, Amy, Jeffrey, Joshua, Danika, Patrick and Wally. As well as his extended Buffalo family.
A special thanks to the amazing team of doctors, nurses, pab’s, housekeepers, maintenance and security personnel at the Kateri Memorial Hospital Center who provided Arthur with the highest level of care, humour, and genuine good medicine until his untimely passing.
At his request there will be no visitation, however a service will be held Wednesday September 6th at 11am at the United Church. In lieu of flowers, it’s his wish for donations to be made to either the United Church, Kahnawake Fire Brigade, or the Kateri Memorial Foundation. As all played a pivotal role throughout his life as well as well as his final chapter.
