Bonnie Daviduk of Kamloops passed way peacefully on Saturday December 30, 2023. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill in 2008. Bonnie is survived by daughters Sharon (John) McBean and Gail (Emmanuel) Padley, grandchildren Paige (Matt) Reilkoff, Eric (Alex) Padley and great-grandchildren Brianne, Audrey, Oliver, and Elaina.
The first thing we think about when we think of our Mom. Grandma, Gigi and friend is feisty. She was a teacher in her early career but found her calling when she started to work in the library system. She loved books – all kinds of books. Bonnie believed with all her heart that everyone was entitled to an education. When she and Dad moved to Kamloops she became involved with women’s groups that helped women acquire funds and direction toward furthering an academic path.
Bonnie was smitten with her two grandchildren and was never so thrilled to be a part of their lives as they grew up.
Bonnie loved to travel and she made many trips to the British Isles and cruised the Baltics, enjoying all the different countries she visited. She loved live theatre and concerts and she would take in performances whenever she could get tickets.
Family and friends enjoyed her energy and sense of humour. She could cook up a storm and made wonderful feasts for the people she loved.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and we will hold her dear in our hearts and memories for ever.
