Obituary of Yvon Joseph Ferdinand Pépin
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvon Pépin on December 11, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Colette (née Jacques) for 50 years. Treasured father of Steve. Dear brother of Réjeanne (the late Yvon Labrecque), Adrien (Celine), and Serge (Francine). Yvon will be missed by his in-laws, Nelson (Jeannine), Yvan, Gisèle (the late Gilles Jacques), and Francine (Rejean); as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Fernand and Marie-Anna.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them in honouring Yvon at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 19 at Église Sacré-Coeur, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
