With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved father, Yiliang Zhang, has passed away peacefully, joining his wife, Wenyan Fan, the love of his life.
He leaves behind his son Yu and daughter-in-law Stephane, daughter Ying and son-in-law Runping, and grandchildren Marvin, Shirley, and Emma.
During his ninety-three years, Yiliang was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather who cared for his family with immense love. He was also a successful engineer who pioneered the design and development of hydro-electrical power stations in modern China. In the latter part of his life, after retirement, he immigrated to Canada to join his son’s family, residing in Maple Ridge.
Yiliang will be deeply missed by all of us. He will be laid to rest beside his wife, who passed away two years ago, on Thursday, June 13, at 11:00 AM at Maple Ridge Cemetery.

我们怀着沉重的心情宣布，我们敬爱的父亲张一亮已于2024年6月2日安详离世，与他一生的挚爱，我们的母亲樊文燕团聚。
他留下了儿子宇及儿媳斯蒂芬妮，女儿莹及女婿润平，孙子妙文，孙女璇文和艾玛。
在张一亮的九十三年人生中，他是一位优秀的儿子、丈夫、父亲和祖父，他以满腔的爱心关怀家人；他是一位成功的工程师，在现代中国水电站设计和开发方面做出了开创性的贡献。退休后的最后一段时光，他移民加拿大与儿子的家庭团聚，先后定居在温哥华和枫树岭。
我们将深深怀念张一亮。他将于6月13日星期四上午11点安葬在枫树岭公墓，与两年前去世的妻子长眠在一起。
