Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Winston Sentner announce his peaceful passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Tuesday July 4th, 2023 at the age of 66 years. Born in Charlottetown, PEI. Winston was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Sentner.
He was also predeceased by his brother, David Sentner and parents in-law, Reg and Evelyn Osmond. With precious memories he leaves to mourn; his wife of 37 years, Karen Sentner (nee Osmond); daughter’s, Jillian and Jenny (Lucus); grand-daughters, Jersey and Jayde. He will also be missed by his brother’s; Brian (Lynn), Alan (Marlene), Wendall (Louise), Evertte, Kevin (Mary) and Roger; his sister’s and brother’s in-law, Glenda (Brian), Pam, Randy (Jamie), Peter (Cheryl) and Heather (Joey) plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques; family physician, Dr. Blecher and his wonderful assistant Paula Harvey as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cancer Centre in St. Johns. Thank you to those who walked with him and went above and beyond to care for him.
In keeping with Winston’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date in Greenvale Cemetery, PEI.
