It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of our beloveded husband, father, grandfather and brother Wilson Mckenzie Spurrell of Dunfield on September 6, 2023 at the age of 68 yrs.
Wilson is predeceased by his parents William George and Alberta Spurrell, his brothers Charlie, Gary, Billy, and special Godson Jeffrey Johnson.
Leaving to mourn his devoted wife of 48 years Loretta (nee Dooley), children Dwayne (Vanessa), and Trevor (Jennifer). Two precious grandsons Colby (Ashley) and Kyle (Jaylen), and his fur babies Bo and Oakley. brother Pleeman (Sheila), sisters Loretta (Kevin), Valerie (Gary), Corrine (Glen), and Della (Keith). In-laws Ellen, Bern (Eileen), Rita, Pauline, Gerry (Brenda), Irene, Cyril (Dorcas), Louise (Dean), Bernadette (Leo) and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.
We would like to express gratitude to the nurses and doctors of G.B.Cross Hospital for the care given during his brief illness.
Wilson was a man you were sure to see if you needed a helping hand. He was a pillar to his church and community.
Honoring Wilsons wishes cremation will take place.
Visitation: Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 6-8 pm from Grace United Church, Dunfield.
Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 11 am with inurnment following at the United Church Cemetery, Trinity.
Please show your support by wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey or Toronto Blue Jays Jersey to the funeral service on Sunday if you plan to attend.
