Obituary of William Allan Thomas Phelan
It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the peaceful passing of William ‘Bill’ Phelan. Born on June 30th 1940 and passed on September 16th 2024 in his 84th year at Linhaven. Survived by his loving sons, Chris and Luke (Jennifer) Phelan; adoring grandchildren Nolan, Avery and Kora; sisters Eileen Phelan, Diane Phelan and Carroll (the late Benny) Zanatta; brothers Dave (Gloria) Phelan and Kelly (Cathy) Phelan; former partner and friend, Maria Phelan. Bill will be remembered as a loving coach and Big Brother. Predeceased by Bill are his parents, Allan and Mary (nee Cain) Phelan.
Many thanks to the caring nurses and staff at Linhaven for their kind and compassionate care given to our father.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines and further to Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
