William (Bill) McLuckie McCorkindale passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 62. Willaim was born January 20, 1962, in Greenock, Scotland, son of Lillian and Daniel McCorkindale and brother of Margaret McCorkindale.
In 1965, at the age of 3, William and his family moved to Chatham, Ontario and a year later he would form a cherished and lifelong friendship with Steven Everett. It was also in the city of Chatham where William would meet the love of his life, Chrystal Wallace (now McCorkindale). William and Chrystal were married for 43 years, the parents of two daughters Michelle and Deirdre McCorkindale. William and Chrystal built a life together filled with his passions for rock and roll music, film, dog shows, and rugby. William was an accomplished martial artist, fitness enthusiast, and avid lover of Halloween.
William will be missed by his circle of friends and family. In accordance with William’s wishes, a cremation of his remains has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in 2025, with a specific date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
