Mr. William “Bill” Hill, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 79.
Bill was born in Bristol, England and was a son of the late Arthur and Kathleen (Congdon) Hill.
With his beloved wife Janet (Oakley) Hill, they came to Canada in 1981.
Loving father of Lorna (Rob) Lariviere and Tristan (the late Lori Armstrong) Hill.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Joey-Marie, Evan, Joshua, Caelan and Dena and great grandchildren Michael, Trevelyan, Serenity, Aiden, Liam, Declan, Quillan and Lachlan.
Kind brother and brother-in-law of Joan (Ken) Greville, John Hill, Jim (Helen) Hill, Margaret (Tony) and Robert (Janice).
Bill worked with Esso for over 30 years, loved to collect stamps, older style country music and was always known for his unique way.
The late William Hill rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
An open house Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Make A Wish Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
