William Edward «Bill» Connell Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William Edward (Bill) Connell on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Ronald Connell and Frances Gosson (Mosher), and the husband of Sharon Connell (Watson).
Bill worked as a baker at Sobey’s for over 30 years. Bill also enjoyed playing Santa every Christmas for his loved ones. He was a very special man.
Bill will be missed by his loving wife, of 48 years, Sharon Connell, his two sons Billy (Angela) and Matthew (Shelby), and his daughter Angela; his brothers Robert (June) and John (Laura); his sisters Debbie, Brenda (Paul), Carol, and Elizabeth (Edward); his six grandchildren Shyanne, Tori, Sebastian, Desiree, Daisy and Drew; five great-grandchildren Layla, Emmett, Autumn, Jaydon and Peyton as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his in-laws Raymond and Daisy Watson, and infant baby Veronica Lee.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). There will be a Celebration of Life at 141 Willie Avenue on August 2, 2024, from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. All are welcome.
