Obituary
With broken hearts and immense sadness, we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend, William “Bill” Baker, of Broad Cove, aged 54 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Dalton Baker and Matilda Samms.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his three daughters Terri-Lynn (Dustin), Taylor (Edmund) and Destiny (Victor); their mother, Tracey Piercey; his grandchildren who he absolutely adored, Jayden, Alexa, Jace, Lincoln, and unborn granddaughter baby girl Baker-Otu; special friend, Beth-Ann Chafe; Aunts Joan, Jessie, and Daphne; close cousins, Lisa, Joe, Vicki, and Jamie; his fur babies, Ozzy, Baby, and Simba; as well as a large circle of extended family and many friend’s.
Bill had a true passion for driving his transport truck, which he enjoyed doing for 30+ years. He also enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing, a day in the woods and bird watching. Anything that made him feel “free”.
He adored his children and grandchildren, especially, his oldest daughter his “baby girl”, Terri-Lynn, who was his true confidant.
Cremation has taken place.
A visitation will be held from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
A funeral service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, on Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery, Dildo.
Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the William D. Baker Memorial Fund C/O Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo. (EMT donations can be sent to warrensfhome@hotmail.com use password “William Baker”).
