It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bill Temperton at Glenhill Terrace, Whitby on April 30, 2024 at the age of 93. He had been in declining health since his stroke 9 years ago.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Cindy (David) Myers. Predeceased by his wife Georgina “Bea”and daughter Janice Chevrier. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Chris Myers (Lisa), Jason Chevrier (Sylvie), Krystal Chevrier-Dock and great-grandchildren Aiden and Nolan Myers, Lucas and Evelyn Chevrier, and Mya and Landon Dock. Also survived by his brother Robert “Bob” Temperton and sister-in-law Rosemary “Rose” Ham.
He was a retiree of General Motors Oshawa after many years in the truck plant. Dad was a gentle, quiet man who lived a full life. He loved his family and friends, travelling, listening to music, dancing, and woodcarving.
A very special thanks to everyone at Glenhill Terrace for their compassionate care.
Cremation has taken place. At his request, there will be no funeral. Memorial Donations can be given to a charity of your choice.
