It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Bill Morton, who passed away at the age of 88 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife of forty-nine years, Shirley, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories.
Together, Bill and Shirley spent many joyful winters in Phoenix, a tradition they began in their early fifties. Fondly referred to as “the babies” by fellow residents of their park, they embraced their time in Arizona with warmth and laughter. Bill’s backhoe business kept him busy during the summer months in Alberta, allowing them the freedom to enjoy winters in the sun.
Bill will be missed by his four children, Randy (Marie) Morton of Victoria, Cindy (John) Fretwell of Victoria, Cathy Lutz of Red Deer and Russell Morton of Victoria. He also leaved behind seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren who will hold his memory close in their hearts.
Bill’s legacy of hard work and adventure will live on in all who knew and loved him.
