Obituary
NICKERSON, William “Bill” George – 80, of Barrington, Nova Scotia passed away June 25th 2023, surrounded at home with his loving family after a short battle with cancer. Cherished husband of 57 years to Amy; loving father of Joanne (Paul), and Jeff (Carla) Nickerson; proud grandfather of Morgon (Chelsea), and Jacob Nickerson; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Claremont and parents Evelena and Wallace Nickerson. Bill will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband and devoted father and Grandfather. Bill was a fisherman for the majority of his life out of West Head and dreamed of hauling pots until he was called home. Special thanks to nieces Jennifer and Jill for taking outstanding care of Bill during his time of need. It’s because of you both that Bill was able to complete his heavenly journey with his family holding him close. Thank you to the VON and Continuing Care for keeping him comfortable and safe. Arrangements are entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. It was Bill’s wish that there will be no visitation or funeral services; think of him when you look at the sea.
