William «Bill» C. Law
After a courageous battle with cancer, William passed away at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his first wife Rachel and his son Danny Law. Survived by his children Gerry Law (Myrna), Jason Law (Dawn) and Gisele Barlow (Darren). Left to mourn is his wife Marie Gannon and her children Shane Gannon, Deidre Lewis (Stan). Grandfather of Sarah Gervais, Krystal Law, Hannah Barlow, Jacob Barlow, Rheuben Gannon, Dustin Gannon, Rosanna Law, William Law (Jessica), Tyler Law, Emma Law, Nathan Law, Lark Law, Baylee Law, Brianna Law, Kobi Byfield, Joshua Byfield, Kalah Lewis, Kameron Lewis and Kevin Lewis and great grandfather of Brandan Pellow, Sarah Pellow, Riley Law, Josephine Simmons, Emily Simmons, Oakland Cormier, Aria Cormier, Jayson Ryan and Astoria Ryan. Survived by his sisters, Irene Gaudette and RoseMay Armstrong (Glen).
Bill had a passion and love for the outdoors. He deeply loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. His skills as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic assisted him to build and open many roads in the North. He was deeply loved and cherished by his community, family and friends. Being surrounded by love and support is a testament to the impact he had on those around him.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In his honour, remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
