Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilhelmina Barry announce her passing on May 21, 2024 on the long term care unit in Corner Brook NL, at 88 years of age. Born in O’Regan’s, she was the daughter of late Mary and William Ryan. She was also predeceased by her husband; William Henry Barry; Daughter; Dorothy Barry; grand children, Shianne Barry, Kyle Barry and Charles Anderson; brother Wilfred (Caroline) Ryan, Ambrose (Bride) Ryan, Mike Ryan; sister Lucy (Murdock) Aucoin; sister in law, Shirley Ryan; brother in law, Herbert Penny.
She leaves to mourn her loving family, children; Charles Barry (Maureen Ann), Leo Barry and Mary Barry, her brothers and sisters as well as her many nieces and nephews
Wilhelmina loved being around people, especially children. She enjoyed bingo and anything social, as well as reading a good book.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 7-9 PM at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry, NL. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 25th,2024 at 10:30 AM, officiated by Father Prakash, with internment to follow at Mount St. Thomas Cemetery, Great Codroy, NL.
