Wesley Erhart Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Wesley Keith Erhart
July 23, 1952- June 3, 2024
It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of West Erhart on June 3, 2024. Wes was born in Winnipeg but moved to Nanaimo as a young teenager. Wes was owner of Concepts Kitchen & Design for over 30 years. If Wes wasn’t designing kitchens, you would likely find him in the backyard sitting at his fish pond, enjoying family barbeques or playing backgammon with Margo.
Wes and Margo were married in 1971. They had two beautiful daughter Patrice (Darren) and Danielle, four wonderful grandchildren, Aidan (Kenzie), Hannah (Jordan), Grace and Lily. Wes was predeceased by his father Phil, mother Hannah, Sister Sandy and brother Brian.
Wes will be remembered and missed by sister Donna (Dave), Sister in law Judy, brother Warren (Marie), sister Janice and many nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to the staff in the ICU unit at NRGH and to Dr. Madzoub who’s care was so appreciated.
Celebration of Life to be held July 20, 2024 at Costin Hall in Lantzville from 2-5pm

It is not possible to convey in words the tremendous sorrow and oppressive grief Wes’s family are feeling. I can only gauge by my own experience losing someone dear. Wes was a great friend and compassionate listener. We had many spirited and intelligent conversations over the years. The twinkle in his eye and sly smile gave away to his some times protagonist stance in discussions. He had a way of stimulating thought and conversation. His love of music renowned. A kind, gentle and intelligent soul filled this man. My eyes well as I speak of him. Doug, Kris and I will miss our Friday wine nights with him. Wes, wherever you are may we one day meet again. Good bye brother.
