Well, shit! I guess that’s it for me! Apparently, I’ve passed away! I got tired of waiting for the Leafs to win the Stanley Cup.
If you are trying to decide if you knew me, this might help… My dad was Edward Peters, who drove truck for Harley Transport in Peterborough and mom, Marjorie Peters (née Halliday), who did everything else.
I leave behind a semi-dysfunctional/loving family (Isn’t everyone’s?) including Kathy Peters of Hiawatha, Michael Peters (Lynn) of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, and Tracy Peters (Pierre Martin) of Peterborough.
A few words about you, Kevin, my very best friend: We became fast friends at the age of 17 and true friends ever since! You were with me through the good times and the bad… right up until the end. I will miss you, our private jokes, our laughter and also our tears. Carry on taking care of the kids. I love you!
Regrettably, I leave behind my GM Financial family, as well as so many other friends throughout the years, who gave me incredible memories.
I will also miss my second family in Hanover… Suzi, Shay and Special K, Kevin Chittick, who opened their hearts and home to me, giving wonderful love and support.
Cremation has taken place and my ashes will be scattered… you-know-where.
No funeral services are happening, as per my wishes. I had a GREAT party before I left. That was enough.
Don’t waste your money on flowers. Send a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or The Peterborough Humane Society. I’d appreciate it and so would they. (And, remember to spay and/or neuter your pets, please!)
Well… I’m off to see Mom & Dad, Gram & Grandad and the rest of those who went before me and over the Rainbow Bridge… too many Fur Babies to name. See ya when you get here and keep smiling!
