WELLARD, Wayne Robbin – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Wayne Robbin Wellard. Robb fought a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He died at home surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Robb leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Diana Karam, step children; Francisco (Jenny), and Antoinette (Cameron). His brother, Brian, and sister, Bonny (Daniel), and sisterlike friend, Edna. His daughters; Katie, and Rachel. Friends from Stelco/Stelwire and Arcelor Mittal. He spent his leisure time in the outdoors, fixing up homes and selling them, and was known by the Realtors as Mr. Clean. He owned a landscape business, after retirement and worked as a maintenance supervisor at Petro Canada on Barton Street. He fell in love with Colombia, and wintered there until COVID and his cancer changed that. He moved out of Hamilton and headed North to the Kawartha Lakes where he retired in a peaceful setting, overlooking Pigeon Lake. He spent his time on his lawnmower, enjoyed trivia, reading, landscaping and his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed for his supportive and caring nature. storytelling, jokes, sense of humor.
