In Loving Memory of Wayne J. McCarthy
1960 – 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Joseph McCarthy of Toronto, Ontario, after a brief illness, on September 26, 2024, at the age of 64.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on April 26, 1960, he was the son of Connie J. McCarthy and the late Joseph (Junior) McCarthy of Miramichi, NB.
Besides his mother, Wayne will be sadly missed by his sisters: Debbie Carroll of Miramichi, NB, and Susan Lambert of Whitby, ON; and his brother, Kevin McCarthy (Kim) of Whitby, ON; nieces: Cassandra Carter, and Kirsten McCarthy; nephews: Matthew Carroll, Ryan Lambert, and Kyle McCarthy; as well as numerous cousins.
Wayne was predeceased by his father, Junior McCarthy; and his loving companion, Tammy Saunders (2023).
A PRIVATE Funeral Mass will be held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, NB, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, with The Reverend Father John Beaumaster as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor choice would be appreciated by the family.
