Wayne David Scoville passed away at Maplestone Seniors Home,
Halifax on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
Leaving to mourn are his son, John Scoville (Ford Rice) and
daughter, Linda Bent (John Bent); sister, Linda Hamilton and several
nieces.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Evelyn
Scoville and brother-in-law, Ross Hamilton.
Wayne was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on November 20,
1948.
Wayne joined the Canadian Military at an early age,
retiring after 25+ years of service. When Wayne married Geraldine, he
took on the responsibility of two teenage children. Wayne and
Geraldine liked to travel, and they visited a number of
countries.
He is now free of pain and sorrow and has
joined Geraldine in Heaven.
The visitation will be on Monday, June
17th, from 1 to 2 p.m., with the funeral to
follow at 2:30 p.m. Both visitation and funeral will be held in the
White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, NS. Reverend Terry Penney will
be officiating funeral service and interment in the Elm Grove
Cemetery, Steam Mill. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be
made to the Parkinsons Society. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
