It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our Husband, father, Papa, and great-Papa Warren Thomas Blackstock December 26th, 2023, in Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops surrounded by his family. Warren (age 92) by is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marguerite (Marg) children, Cathie (Ken), Karen (Peter) and Cam (Linda) six grandchildren Joel (Jenna), Dustin (Stacey), Carly (Dale), Brock, Colten (Lindsay), Parker (Jenna) as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
Warren grew up in Burnaby, the youngest of six children born to Robert Harold and Margaret Isabel (Gillis) Blackstock in 1931. Warren worked at Scott Paper in New Westminster for 20 years, prior to relocating to 150 Mile House in 1971 upon purchasing the 150 House Hotel with his business partner and family members, Joe and Jean Deacon. Upon selling the hotel in 1976, Warren engaged in many other endeavors, including driving dump truck, selling real estate, owning and operating Blackstock Distributors, Blackys Truck & Car Wash, amongst other things. Warren and Marg purchased a condo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they spent and enjoyed winters for 20 years.
A celebration of Warrens life will be announced at a later date to be held in Kamloops, where he had made his home for the past 20 years.
