Walter «Wally» Larsen Obituary
Walter Eric Larsen was born in Consort, Alberta on June 30, 1943. In 1950, the family moved to Enderby, BC where Wally graduated from high school. He married his lifelong partner and wife, Diane, in 1967.
First and foremost, Wally was a farmer at heart. He always had cattle and worked the land, all the while working a full-time job. Wally worked several jobs over the years but was primarily a meat cutter. Most people knew him as the meat manager at Sloans Grocery or the IGA in the 80’s and 90’s.
Wally enjoyed attending seniors’ luncheons and volunteered for the local 4H Beef Club, IPE cattle shows and was a member of the Simmental Association of BC. More recently, Wally also became an avid bowler, and continued to help out around the farm.
Wally is predeceased by his parents Chris and Martha, brother Terry and sister Joyce. He leaves behind his wife Diane, daughter Stacey (Jeff) and sons Davin (Courtney), Shayne (Sandy), two sisters Eva (Jim), Shirley (Doug), and grandkids Linden, Griffyn, Liam, Hudson, Dannon, and Rylan as well as many other relatives and friends.
