Passed ever so peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on his brother Gordon’s birthday, August 31, 2023, Wallace Anthony Coady of Marystown, NL at the age of 68 years.
Predeceased by parents, John and Christina Coady; brothers, John Jr., Allan, and Gordon Coady; baby sister Joan Coady; brothers-in-law, Dennis Dwyer, Bill Mayo; sister-in-law Sheila Coady; parents-in-law, Patrick and Rosalie Fitzgerald; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kevin, Margaret and Theresa Fitzgerald, Margaret Fitzgerald, Barbara Fitzgerald, Paddy Fitzgerald, Phil Fitzgerald, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Catherine Lang; nephew, Shawn Fitzgerald.
Leaving to celebrate his life, loving wife Ann Coady; son, Tony Coady (Robyn Barrett); daughters, Lorna Coady and Denise McCarthy (Jason); grandchildren, Jack Coady, Lucas Coady, Morgan Hodder (Lily), Krissy Phillip (Doneld); 3 great grandchildren, Mason, Cory and Logan; sisters, Bernadette Dwyer, Patricia Riggs (Roland), Joan Mayo, Evelyn Brown (Gerry), Lorraine Taylor (Gary), Mary Ann Broderick (Ron); sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Coady, John Fitzgerald (Gwen), Peter Fitzgerald (Barb), Ada Fitzgerald, Rita St. Croix, Gerald Fitzgerald (Lillian), Barbara Fitzgerald, Francis Fitzgerald (Roslyn), Leo Fitzgerald (Carol), Gerard Fitzgerald (Kay), Madeline O’Brien (Bob), Mike Lang; as well as many nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.
The Coady Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on
Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 from
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 from
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Monday, September 4th, 2023 at 11:00 am. A private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, in Wallace’s memory, donations may be made to the NL Down Syndrome Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
