With great sadness we announce that at the age of 86, Vivian was peacefully reunited with her parents Charles and Pearlene Stevens on March 29, 2023. Vivian is survived by her children, Maria Langille (Larry), River John, Ann Jeffreys (Dwight), Wallace, David Jeffreys, Hilden; six grandchildren, Robin, Sandy, Taylor, Hayley, Austin and Sarah and four great-grandchildren, Brennan, Keagan, Emerson and Sophia. She is also survived by sister, Linda Goodwin and brothers, Clayton, Larry and Garry Stevens Vivian was predeceased by parents; brothers Chalmers, Raymond and Melvin.
Vivian was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who was always there when we needed her. She loved her work in the nursing field looking after her clients and helping others. Later in life, gardening, puzzles and her grandchildren were her joys. Besides gardening, she also loved her soap operas, music, and spending time with friends and family. She spent her last years at Willow Lodge in Tatamagouche. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the love, care, and compassion she received from her Willow Lodge family.
Vivian’s celebration of life will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2pm in St. Andrew’s United Church, Fox Harbour, Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Reception will follow in the church. Burial will be held at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Vivian may be made to the Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche in support of their Palliative Care Room Campaign.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
