Vito’s Obituary
Passed away suddenly, at the Brantford General Hospital, on July 8th, 2024, with family by his side. Predeceased by his wife of 44 years Vittoria Romano (nee. Foglia). Loved father of Frank (Kim), Judy Brady (Paul), and Richard (Kaelan). Cherished papa to Kylee (Ian), Stephanie (Shawn), Nikolas (Sarah), and Angela (James). Adored great-grandfather (papa) to Myla, Maverick, Olsen, Mason, Max, Blayke, Ava and Evan. Vito will be dearly missed by many extended family members and friends.
Vito cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren above anything else. He was a proud Italian and embraced his cultural heritage – he loved to kick back with a limoncello and a good bowl of homemade pasta. Vito enjoyed many hobbies but particularly loved bocce ball, golfing, a game of pool, fishing, and loved playing a good game of cornhole. His presence will be dearly missed.
Friends will be welcomed at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, on Monday July 15th from 7 – 9 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Vito’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
